ROM – Bj’s Brewhouse

Congrats to Kristin C from Springboro, OH for winning the $100 Gift Card.

Restaurant of the Month:

BJ’s Brewhouse

We had a gift card to BJ’s, so we decided to go since it had been a while—likely B.C. (Before Cora) 😂. We’ve been there a few times for happy hour and always enjoyed their avocado egg rolls and spinach dip 🥑. This time, we sat in the dining room for a full meal.

They had a burger special, so I went for the Hickory Brisket & Bacon Burger 🍔. Ashley ordered the slow-roasted sirloin 🥩. She was a little concerned at first since it came out thicker than she’s used to, but to her surprise, it was cooked perfectly medium well, just how she likes it! 👍

For dessert, we couldn’t resist their famous pizookie 🍪. Being October, they had a special one called the Spooky Pizookie 👻—a Cookies ‘N’ Cream cookie topped with Oreo crumbs, Halloween sprinkles, vanilla bean ice cream, and crackable chocolate sauce. Yes, of course, it was delicious! 😋

Did You Know?

  1. Pizza Origins, Beer Legacy: BJ’s actually started as a pizza place called BJ’s Chicago Pizza, focusing solely on pizza before adding their famous brews in 1996. This shift led to their rebranding as BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse to emphasize the craft beer offerings that became a significant part of their identity

  2. Award-Winning Craft Beers: BJ’s takes its beer seriously, operating multiple brewing facilities across the U.S. and testing over 150 new beer recipes annually. Their dedication has paid off, as BJ’s beers have won more than 200 awards, including honors at the prestigious Great American Beer Festival. Their popular brews, like the PM Porter and Oasis Amber, have become guest favorites

  3. The Pizookie Legacy: BJ’s is widely credited with inventing the Pizookie—a giant, gooey cookie baked in a pizza pan and served hot with ice cream on top. Since introducing it, the Pizookie has gained a cult following and is now available in many flavors, including chocolate chunk, salted caramel, and even seasonal varieties like pumpkin spice
